Todd Brooks


Todd Brooks is an award-winning director, musical director, arranger, writer, and actor. Having performed since he was five, Todd has continued to entertain audiences across the region. Whether it's behind the scenes as a director, accompanist, or backup vocalist or on stage as an actor or singer, he can usually be found involved in some kind of creative arts endeavor. Todd has been involved with many theatre companies, among them BroadStreet Theatre Co., SNAP! Productions, Chanticleer Theater, Dana College, Iowa Western Community College, and the Shelterbelt Theatre. He also directed the American Premiere of the musical version of Stepping Out. On stage, Todd has appeared in Das Barbecu with Opera Omaha, along with many other shows across the region, such as The Great American Trailer Park Musical; Kiss of the Spider Woman; Sunday in the Park with George; The Most Fabulous Story Ever Told; Always A Part Of Me; The Laramie Project; Three Guys Naked From the Waist Down; Love! Valour! Compassion!; The Boys In the Band; Little Shop of Horror; Big River; 42nd Street; Dames at Sea; A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum; The Fantastiks; Forever Plaid and many more. In 2006, he appeared with the Omaha Symphony as the narrator in Igor Stravinsky's "Histoire Du Soldat." Todd has also performed in many cabarets and musical reviews.
