Katie Cameron


Katie has been involved in theatre since she was a young girl. Her primary role as a mom keeps her quite busy, but she does find time to do stage readings here and there. Recent stage work includes readings for the GPTC in 2009 and 2010 including Waaxe’s Law which was also performed at other venues in Nebraska; The Room Next Door or The Vibrator Play, OCP 21 & Over; The Good News According to St. Dude, Skullduggery; Hippie Doctor, MCC and UNO, and Execution of Justice, UNO.  Also at UNO, she served as dramaturg for Gross Indecency: The Three Trials of Oscar Wilde, costume crew for Much Ado About Nothing and Metamorphoses, and “child wrangler” for The Miracle Worker. She is a member of the Nebraska Shakespeare Community Board and the Braided River Quilter’s Guild. Katie lives in LaVista, NE and works for Metropolitan Community College in Event Services and the Great Plains Theatre Conference.
