Thais Flaitt Giannoccaro


Thais Flaitt Giannoccaro graduated from University of Belas Artes of Sao Paulo, and SCSFA – School of Theatre, SP, Brazil, this Brazilian born actress, director, producer, set/costume designer and art teacher has been working in professional theatre since 1998. Some of her many stage credits include Witch Morgana, The Taming of the Little Shrew, HAIR, Delirium, and Snow White. Thais moved to Arkansas from Brazil in July 2007. While in Arkansas she was a member of AR Playwrights’ Workshop and has adapted Bizet’s Carmen, for a benefit performance where she also played the title role.  She moved to Omaha, in 2009 and started her graduate studies at UNO, with a focus in directing.  Her most recent productions were as assistant director of UNO’s Twelfth Night, The Rose’s Fantastic Mr. Fox and Skullduggery’s The Vertical Hour, which was named by Omaha World Herald one of the top 10 best shows in 2010.
