Stephanie Kidd


Stephanie Kidd is thrilled to be a part of the 2011 Great Plains Theatre Conference. An actor and director living in Omaha, Neb., she holds a BFA in Theatre for Creighton University and an MA in Theatre from UNO. After working professionally in theatre for about 10 years, she now works in higher education management for the University of Phoenix-Omaha Campus, where she is also an adjunct faculty member. Stephanie toured professionally with both R.E.S.P.E.C.T. and the Omaha Theatre Company for Young People. Favorite local roles include: Lilly in Lilly’s Purple Plastic Purse, Sharpay in High School Musical 1 & 2; Glenda the Good witch in Wizard of Oz all for Omaha Theatre Company for Young People and Li’l Bit in How I Learned to Drive for UNO Theatre Department. Stephanie’s play The Power of Nice, a play about preschool bullying, toured regionally for R.E.S.P.E.C.T. She is PhD student in higher education administration and will graduate Summer 2012.
