Laura Leininger


Laura Leininger received her theatrical training at the Eugene O’Neill National Theatre Institute, Connecticut College, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree, and at the Lee Strasberg Theatre School, where she received a scholarship.  For the past ten years, Ms. Leininger has been a valued company member of the Brigit Saint Brigit Theatre where she has portrayed such varying characters as the title role in Anna Christie, Cat in Love in the Title; Mae in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof; Mag in The Beauty Queen of Leenane; Mina in Dracula; Dr. Einstein in Arsenic and Old Lace; Emilia in Othello; and Carol Cutrere in Orpheus Descending.  Recent roles on other Omaha stages include Elizabeth in Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde at the BLUEBARN, Ruth in Blithe Spirit at the Omaha Community Playhouse, and Lily in Loose Knit at last years’ Great Plains Theatre Conference.
