Moira Mangiameli


Moira Mangiameli is a familiar face to area theatergoers. She has performed in plays at many local theatre venues including the Nebraska Shakespeare Festival, the Omaha Community Playhouse, Broad Street Theatre, the Blue Barn, and several others. Most recently, Moira appeared in “Nunsense” at the Omaha Community Playhouse and “In My Daughter’s Name” with the Angels Theatre Company. She won the 2009 Omaha Arts & Entertainment Best Actress Award for her performance as Stevie in the critically acclaimed production of Edward Albee’s “The Goat, or Who is Sylvia?” at the Blue Barn. Moira has also directed plays for Creighton University, the Omaha Community Playhouse, the Nebraska Theatre Caravan, Iowa Western Community College and Broad Street Theatre, among others. She has participated as both an actor and a director in past Great Plains Theatre Conferences. She works as a literary facilitator in the ESL department at South High School and is a member of the Sacred Heart Freedom Choir.
