Omaha Community Playhouse Apprentices

Elisabeth Astwood – Elisabeth is originally from Omaha, but is going to college in Vancouver. Elisabeth is kind enough to give us her time while she is home on summer break.

Alena Ausdemore – Alena is a first year apprentice. Alena is still trying to figure out what area she wants to concentrate on, as she loves it all!

Adam Baum – Adam is a second year apprentice working mainly in the scene shop.

Kaitlin Bosetti – Kaitlin is a first year apprentice.

Richard Corum – Richard is a second year apprentice concentrating on lighting.

Matt Danner – Matt is a second year apprentice who comes to us from Central High. He is getting his major in electrics. Matt did a great job last year, helping the conference run the activities in building seven almost completely on his own!

Macklin Emas – Macklin is a first year apprentice. Macklin is a “yes man”, doing anything he can to get a full experience in the theatre world. Macklin hopes to follow electrics in his apprenticeship.

Brittani Essler – Brittani is a graduate of the Theatre Tech program in scenic painting. Brittani still volunteers help at least one day a week at the playhouse. She plans to attend University of South Dakota in the fall.

Katie Harper – Katie comes to us from Council Bluffs and is a first year apprentice with our program. She hopes to follow electrics.

Jacob Holt – Jacob is a second year apprentice majoring in Stage Management. Jacob has already worked for the Nebraska Shakespeare Festival, and although he is still exploring his options, he has been accepted by Columbia College/Chicago.

Jordan Johnson – Jordan is a first year apprentice following carpentry. His goals are to follow education and become a teacher.

Gina Leonardo – Gina is a college student. Gina is joining her first year of the Theatre Technology Apprenticeship Program this fall.

Steven Lohrman – Steven is a graduate of the Theatre Tech program. He loves to help with the Great Plains Conference each year though, and this year is no exception.

Chastity O’Bradovich – Chastity is a graduate of the Theatre Tech program. She works in Omaha, including as a backstage hand at the local union, IATSE 42. Chastity has been a returnee of the conference a few times and loves doing so.
