Christopher Stewart


Christopher Stewart, graduate of Hillsdale College (BA English and Theatre), is an actor, playwright, director and teaching artist. This past April, he performed the title role in the world premiere of Disney’s Peter Pan, Jr., with The Children’s Theatre of Cincinnati, where in 2010 he played the title role in Tom Sawyer. While a teaching artist and actor for TCTC, Chris wrote adaptations of Adventures of Huckleberry Finn and The Fantastic Toy Shoppe which toured the Midwest, co-wrote the main stage shows Holiday Follies 2 & 3, and directed Harriet Tubman and the Train to Freedom. In Omaha, Chris recently performed as Alexander in Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day, and as Joe in The Misfits, with The Rose. He has run marketing at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, choreographed for the Hillsdale Tower Dancers, and founded the Covedale Young People’s Theatre Prep program in Cincinnati.
