Amanda Waldron

Amanda Waldron was born in Fairbury, Nebraska, where she quickly learned that she wasn’t made for the small town.  She received her Associate of Arts degree at Iowa Western Community College in 2008, and completed her Bachelor’s in Theatre degree at The University of Nebraska at Omaha this last December.  While there, she participated in the sister school International Exchange Project in Siauliai, Lithuania.  She and seven other UNO advanced acting students performed a collaboration of American scenes for the “Po Saule” (Under the Sun) Theatre Festival.  She has also been involved with Nebraska Shakespeare’s Music Alive collaboration with the Omaha Symphony, portraying Lady Capulet in Romeo and Juliet.  Her most recent productions were her involvement with the Rose Theatre Company in Omaha, portraying multiple roles in The Misfits and Mrs. Fox in Fantastic Mr. Fox.
