Hughston Walkinshaw Director |
Hughston is a founding member of Omaha’s BLUEBARN Theatre and is a graduate of the Conservatory of Theatre and Film at SUNY Purchase. His directing credits include Vieux Carre’, Edward the Second, Arcadia, Quills, Fortinbras Gets Drunk, Silent Night of the Lambs - BLUEBARN; Thom Pain (based on nothing) - BLUEBARN and 2007 Great Plains Theatre Conference; Give ‘Em Hell Harry! - Omaha Community Playhouse; The Wind in the Willows - The Rose; Breaking the Code - SNAP; El Salvadore - Theatre Geo; The Event - Kansas City Fringe Festival; Six Characters in Search of an Author - Rockhurst University; Radio Elephant - 2010 Great Plains Theatre Conference. Hughston is also an actor and is currently writing a screen adaptation of a Tennessee Williams play.
