Kelcey Watson


Kelcey is native who has acted in many theaters in town such as The Blue Barn, JohnBeasley Theater, Shelterbelt , SNAP! ,and the Omaha Community Playhouse. He has enjoyed playing such parts as Boy Willie in August Wilson’s “Piano Lesson”, Darren Lemming in “Take Me Out”,  Paul in “Six Degrees of Seperation” and Sho’Nuff in “Minstrel Show! Or The Lynching of William Brown”. Kelcey also does indie film work with Duncan Joyner and David Sawatski of Fallen Man/ Wild Mercury Pictures in such films  like “Walker”, “Last Days of Kodachrome”, “Murakami and the College World Series” He also worked with fellow Omahan Vince Alston on his film “For Love of Amy” directed by Ted Lange.  He has recently acting with Adrien Brody and Forest Whitaker in Paul T. Shuering’s film “The Experiment”.   An alumni of The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York and “The School” at Steppenwolf Theatre Company in Chicago. Kelcey is pleased to be back at the GPTC again!!!
