Suzanne Withem


Suzanne Withem is a teacher, student, actor, director, stage manager, and props master. Currently a graduate student and teaching assistant in the English Department at UNOmaha where she received her BA in Theatre in 2004, she spent five years teaching, acting, and stage managing at The Rose Theater. Favorite roles include Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz at The Rose and Joan of Arc in The Lark and Nina in The Seagull with the Bridget St. Bridget Theatre Company. Equally talented back stage, Suzanne has stage managed a wide range of shows from The Blue Barn’s edgy and dramatic Hot ‘N’ Throbbing to the youth production of the opera Brundibar in coordination with Opera Omaha and the Institute for Holocaust Education. She also served as stage manager for productions at both Iowa Western Community College and Midland Lutheran College and served as assistant stage manager for Opera Omaha and the Omaha Theater Company Ballet.
