Amy Lane is a faculty member at Metropolitan Community College in Theatre. She holds a Ph.D.
from Wayne State University and an M.F.A. in Directing from the University of Memphis. Her work
has been seen on many stages both locally and nationally, including directing A Servant to Two Masters
for the Bellevue Little Theatre and the Nebraska Shakespeare Festival´s premiere touring production of
The Taming of the Shrew. Her scholarly work has focused on the American fringe festival circuit, and
she has become a leading expert in that emerging theatrical form.
