Ashley Spessard is a recent graduate of the University of Nebraska–Omaha´s (UNO) Theatre Program
where she was named the 2007–2008 Outstanding Undergraduate Student in Theatre. She can
currently be seen on stage at the Omaha Community Playhouse as Abigail Williams in The Crucible.
At UNO, Spessard appeared in several productions, including Hamlet, Tartuffe and Reckless. Last
summer, she was on stage in the Nebraska Shakespeare Festival´s production of Love´s Labours Lost.
She is also an actor/educator with R.E.S.P.E.C.T.2, a program that travels to schools around Nebraska
and Iowa to educate students about bullying, and recently developed curriculum for a summer theatre
camp with UNO´s AIM for the Stars.
