Brian will be a second year graduate student in Directing for Theatre and Film and hails from Chicago,
Illinois. A graduate from the University of Illinois Champaign - Urbana, Brian received his BFA in 2000
while directing Michael Weller´s Fishing, The Rocky Horror Show, Maggie Magalita,
and original works The Ballad of Brenda and Eddie (co-wrote) and Abandon. In the winter of
2000, he founded his own non-profit theatre company in Chicago called C´est La Vie Drama where he
wrote and directed What a Fool Believes, Goo!- A Theatrical Sitcom, Screw L.A.,
and single.dating.married? (co-wrote). Brian is the artistic director of Theatrix where he directed
Reckless in the spring of 2006, as well as being the director of audience development for the
Nebraska Repertory Theatre. He will next be seen directing the staged reading of the one woman play
Pretty Fire for the Nebraska Repertory Theatre´s Destination series, where he is also the
producer this summer.
