Chelsie Hartness is most passionate about singing, acting and dancing. She hopes to, some day
soon, make a career out of all three. In 2002, Hartness decided to take some time away from school
but kept busy while working for Action 3 News. Recently, she has decided to go back and finish
her B.F.A. while working for Ervin and Smith Advertising. When Hartness graduates from the
University of Nebraska–Omaha, she plans to work with a theater/music program where her goal
is to write, act and possibly direct. She last appeared on stage as Sally Bowles in Cabaret put on by
SNAP! Productions at the Shelterbelt Theatre in 2003. She says it´s been too long since her last show
and plans to start participating in more theatre soon. For now, you can catch her dancing at the
Civic Auditorium with Omaha´s professional dance team the Prime Dancers during the Omaha Beef
football games.
