Christa Joy Hillmer has studied acting at the University of Nebraska–Omaha and played in their
productions of The Birds and St. Jude and the Hopeless Cause. She has also done A Funny Thing
Happened on the Way to the Forum at the Chanticleer Theatre, Meet Me in St. Louis and Plaza Suite
at the Grande Olde Players Theatre and Murder of an Idol and There´s No Business Like Snow Business
with the Florentine Players. Under the direction of Kevin Barratt, Hillmer performed in The Wiz, A
Midsummer Night´s Dream, The Real Inspector Hound and The Bourgeois Gentleman. She also dances,
plays the piano and violin, fences and enjoys horseback riding.
