Chuck Holmes

Chuck Holmes Chuck Holmes was born in Omaha in the reign of Truman. He grew up in Okoboji, Iowa, and went to school in Minnesota. For many years he worked at a used bookstore on a busy street in St. Paul. One day a woman came in to sell her Cortazar collection; Holmes immediately fell in love with this lover of Julio. They got married and moved to Bellingham Bay where he worked at a library on an island. They have had three sons along the way. Holmes now lives on a brittle river in a little town in far eastern South Dakota. At six o´clock every evening, the church bells chime. His favorite author is Gertrude Stein.
