Clinnesha Nicole Dillon

Clinnesha Dillon Clinnesha Nicole Dillon is a native of McComb, Miss. She is a graduate of Tougaloo College where she earned a Bachelor´s Degree in Interdisciplinary Career-Oriented Humanities and was Miss Tougaloo College 2005-2006.

Dillon began her writing career at an early age. At 12, she wrote and directed her first stage play and had a book of poetry published by the age of 15. Her second volume of poetry, Thicker Than Water, was published in 2001.

Her work was selected for both the 2007 and 2008 Region IV Kennedy Center American College Theatre 10-Minute Play Festivals. She also recently participated in "Voices at the River," a new play development program for Latino and African-American Playwrights at the Arkansas Repertory Theatre in Little Rock.

Dillon is currently an M.F.A. Playwriting candidate at the University of Arkansas–Fayetteville and is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
