Colleen O´Doherty is majoring in Spanish and American Sign Language as well as working on
creative writing and theater at the University of Nebraska–Omaha (UNO). She is the president of
Nebraskans for Peace and Talking Hands and will be a MavCamp professional this summer. She
enjoys biking, reading, writing, acting, swimming and goofi ng around. Past roles have included those
in Macbeth, Don´t Drink the Water, The Frogs, The Princess and the Pea, Woman in Mind, The Midlife
Crisis of Dionysus and the originally crafted piece Carry On for the NU Ways/NU Works Festival at
UNO this past spring. O´Doherty´s achievements included a TAG award nomination.
