Constance McCord directed Beckett´s Waiting for Godot at the 28 th Street Theatre in Manhattan
about which reviewer Jerry Tallmer wrote, "This is a production that does honor to Beckett." Other
New York City credits include Dolores and Face Divided (E.A. Baker), Ruffian on the Stair (Orton),
Night (Pinter), My Sister´s Keeper (D. Pearl), Chicken Tawk (Clements), Still in Love (Peters/Kowalski)
and Victoria´s Secret and Extra Curricular Activities (Shelagh Ratner). Regional credits include A Room
of One´s Own (Woolf), Parallel Lives (Coyle/Maxwell), Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (Williams), Lost in
Yonkers (Simon) and Who´s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? (Albee). McCord also enjoys teaching acting and
directing workshops at schools including Rutgers University, Cornell University, Southern Methodist
University, The University of Nebraska and Old Dominion University, as well as at the Midwest
Entertainment Industry Conference.
