Corinne J. Kawecki´s play Lesbian Nightmare was recently chosen for production by the Theatre Department of Louisiana State
University for their Annual Outworks Festival. In December of 2007, her play Wishes was produced as part of the Bloomington
Playwright´s Project´s Sex/Death V Festival. Kawecki´s full-length drama Short Expanse was workshopped by Chicago´s
Hypatia Theatre Company in February of 2007. As a member of the writing group B.U.M.S., her one-act drama Serious was produced in 2005.
She is a network playwright at Chicago Dramatists and has had several staged readings there including American Pastime, The
Interview, Pretendin´ and The Whole Shebang.
