Curt Siemers was most recently seen at the Grande Olde Players Theatre as Old Man Hockstetter
in The Best Man; however, no stranger to theatre, he has had a number of roles at the Omaha
Community Playhouse, the Brigit Saint Brigit and the Circle Theatre. He holds a B.A. from the
University of Nebraska–Omaha in English Literature, an M.A. in English Literature and Theatre
from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln (UNL) and a Ph.D. in Rhetoric from UNL. His
professional life was spent as a college professor for 20 years at Winona State University and another
25 years at various colleges in the Midwest. Siemers has also done a number of commercials both
locally and nationally as well as a couple training films.
