Daniel Welser Carroll is currently a student of Theater English at the State University of New York–Geneseo. The Great Plains Theatre
Conference will mark the first out-of-state expansion of his work as a young playwright (whose regional and institutional productions have yet
to make him worthy of a Wikipedia article). Although primarily identifying as a playwright, Carroll has been much involved with all aspects of
theater for the better part of his life. He has been a student and a teacher at both the New York Conservatory for the Arts and the New York
State Theater Institute, and his participation as a performer has taken him to numerous festivals, including both the New York and Edinburgh
Fringe festivals.
