A company member with the Brigit Saint Brigit (BSB), David Mainelli has appeared in several of their
productions over the past nine seasons, including The Seagull as Trigorin, His Girl Friday as Walter
Burns, The Lion in Winter as Richard the Lionheart, Much Ado About Nothing as Don John, The
Cherry Orchard as Gaev, My Three Angels as Jules and, for two seasons, as the title role in Dracula. He
also appeared in BSB´s productions of Equus, Pride and Prejudice and in the Irish plays Translations,
The Shaughraun, The Freedom of the City and The Weir. Other stage credits include roles in The Hot L
Baltimore and Tartuffe at the BlueBarn Theatre; Breaking the Code, The Actor´s Nightmare and Beyond
Therapy with SNAP! Productions; August Wilson´s Ma Rainey´s Black Bottom at the John Beasley
Theatre (also prop manager) and Gross Indecency: The Three Trials of Oscar Wilde at the Omaha
Community Playhouse. Mainelli has worked on stage at the Circle Theatre and the Omaha Theater
Company for Young People (The Rose). For 11 years, he held professional positions as advertising and
group sales director at the Omaha Community Playhouse, the nation´s largest community theatre,
and box office and house manager with the Omaha Theater Company, the third largest professional
children´s theatre in the country.
