David Rush´s work been seen at Mark Taper Forum, Manhattan Theatre Club, Playwrights´ Horizons, Stage Left, Chicago Dramatists,
Orlando Shakespeare Festival, Odyssey Theater and others. His scripts have won a variety of awards, including several Chicago Jeffs, a Los
Angeles Drama-Logue Award for Excellence in Writing, several Illinois Arts Council grants and several national play contests including the
Dayton Playhouse FutureFest, the Fremont Center New Play Contest, the Firehouse Theater Prize and was a runner-up for the Ojai Playwrights´
Conference. He is currently head of playwriting at Southern Illinois University and an ensemble member of Chicago´s Stage Left Theatre
Company. Rush is represented by Robert A. Freedman Dramatic Agency in New York City.
