Elbert Traylor

Elbert Traylor Performing in plays and musicals throughout his youth instilled in Elbert Traylor a lifelong interest in theater and performing arts. In his career as coordinator of a water pollution management program, he has written, edited and produced scripts for video and other media to promote environmental protection. This position also has allowed him to develop and support projects using art, theater and other performing arts as tools to teach environmental concepts. He has assisted the Angels Theater Company as a crewmember, stage manager and reader in presentations for Banned Books Week and the 2007 Great Plains Theatre Conference. Traylor has authored a one-act play and three short plays. His short play Customs on Christmas Eve was read for the 2007 Brian Mathers´ Tenth Christmas Cabaret. The other plays have been submitted to various competitions.
