Harold Hynick is an active director, actor and designer. His professional credits include work with
Stages Repertory Theatre and The Ensemble in Houston, The Strand Street Theatre in Galveston, The
Penobscot Theatre Company and Maine State Music Theatre in Maine and for the past 12 years as an
actor and director with The Black Hills Playhouse. Hynick has served on the faculties of the University
of South Dakota, Drake University, Chadron State College, Midland Lutheran College and Dakota
Wesleyan University. He holds an M.F.A. in Directing from the University of South Dakota and a
B.A. in Theatre from Central College in Pella, Iowa.
