Hughston is a founding member of the BlueBarn and, since 1989, has acted in and directed over 40 productions
for the theatre. He has served as executive director since 2001. In addition to the BlueBarn, he will be
directing for the Omaha Community Playhouse in 2007. Hughston graduated with a BFA in Theatre/Film from the
State University of New York at Purchase Theatre Conservatory. He has guest taught throughout the state and
region at universities and high schools.
