Jerry R. Ditter is an adjunct instructor at Iowa Western Community College (IWCC) teaching
Acting I and Acting II. Ditter received a double B.A. in Vocal Music Performance and Theatre
from Central Missouri State University in 1996 and an M.A. in Directing from the University of
Nebraska–Omaha in 1998. He went on to start the now defunct non-profit theatre company Stages
of Omaha where he was artistic director for 29 full-scale musicals in five years. At IWCC, Ditter
will be directing Marcus is Walking and directing and choreographing Moby Dick, the Musical in the
2007–2008 season.
