John A. Donnelly

John A. Donnelly John A. Donnelly is delighted to return to Omaha after a thoroughly enjoyable and rewarding experience in 2007 when his play A Year of Grace was read. In most of the 20+ plays of his that have been produced, Donnelly takes wry looks at male/female relationships; however, as a devotee of Shakespeare, he sometimes does twisted takes on the Bard´s works, as in his short play The Scottish Client and in Rickhardt, a contemporary version of the story of Richard III set in the mythical nation of Framistania.

An almost lifetime Californian, Donnelly now lives happily in Portland, Oregon, and can be coaxed away only when his plays are done here and there, or when he needs a fix for his addiction to New York theater.
