Jonathan Purcell is an aspiring screenwriter/actor from Omaha who recently graduated from
Creighton University where he received a B.A. in Theatre Performance. Among his favorite roles
there were Birdboot in The Real Inspector House, Lush in The Hothouse and Vince in Tape. He has
also appeared in numerous shows in the community including You Can´t Take It with You (Ed
Carmichael), The Talented Mr. Ripley (Richard Greenleaf) and Not About Nightingales (Sailor Jack) at
the Omaha Community Playhouse; Proposals (Vinnie Bavasi) at the Bellevue Little Theater and Ping
Pong Diplomacy (Colin Smith) and The Laramie Project (various) at the Shelterbelt Theatre/SNAP!
