Karen is a professional writer and monologuist. She has been touring her one-woman plays and comedy
routines throughout the mid-Atlantic region for several years. She has received multiple fellowship grants
from the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts and is a selected roster artist of Pennsylvania Performing Arts
on Tour. Karen grew up in western Pennsylvania and holds a B.A. from Carnegie-Mellon University in Creative
Writing. She lives in central Pennsylvania with a cat, a man, and a dog. Right On The Money is her
first play that she has written for other actors to perform.
