Lance De Roos

Lance de Roos A South Dakota native, Lance De Roos has been a speech and theatre teacher for 23 years; the last 17 have been at Lincoln High School in Sioux Falls. He received his bachelor´s and master´s degrees from the University of South Dakota–Vermillion.

Over his career as a theatre director and designer, De Roos has adapted scripts of A Christmas Carol and Oedipus Rex. Last year, with a group of students, he wrote an original murder-mystery-comedy entitled Dead Henry. Paramythe is his first original script.

When not in the director´s or designer´s chair, De Roos enjoys traveling, amateur photography and is actively involved with presenting on autism awareness for educators. He lives in Sioux Falls, S.D., with his wife Nancy, his son Taylor, his daughter Katie and their collie Roxie.
