Laura has studied theatre on both coasts, with a B.A. in theatre from San Francisco State and California
State Los Angeles and intensive training with Second City West and New Actor´s Workshop in New York. She
is a graduate of the Interdisciplinary Arts Master´s program at Columbia College Chicago where her focus
was on writing, directing, and performance. Her poetry has been published in the first edition of Asphalt,
a WCCO publication, as well as performed at the Green Mill Lounge and Café Aloha. She is a founding member
of Chicago InArts, a multidisciplinary performance group, and a regular contributor to the Field/Chicago,
an internationally known performance group that brings artists of all kinds together to collaborate on new
works.
