Lindsay Harris has studied writing with Doug Wright and Michele Volansky.
She has served as a script reader for the literary departments of the McCarter
Theater and the Wilma Theatre and maintained a weekly reading and discussion
workshop for playwrights at Philadelphia´s Brick Playhouse. Hanging was
presented in a site-specific workshop production, Mounted and Framed, at the
2004 Philadelphia Fringe Festival. Her play Seven Margaritas was presented in
another site-specific workshop showcase, Mixed Drinks, at the 2003 Philadelphia
Fringe Festival. Ten of her plays to date have been produced in Philadelphia; most
recently, her play A Communist Christmas Carol was presented in the staged reading
workshop showcase Holiday Tales ´06 by American Concert Theatre. She is a
member of the Dramatists Guild.
