Lindsey Johnson is a recent graduate from Simpson College where she completed her Bachelor´s
Degree in Theatre. Her most recent acting experiences include the role of Cassie in Rumors and the
role of Baker´s Wife in Into the Woods for which she received an Irene Ryan acting nomination that
resulted in her being chosen as a semi-finalist in the 2007 auditions at the Kennedy Center American
College Theatre Festival (KCACTF) Region V Festival. In the 2006–2007 year, Johnson has costume
designed, sound designed, production stage managed and directed a production of The Vagina
Monologues in conjunction with the VDAY campaign on the Simpson campus. Her most recent
acting work was a public service television commercial for the Coalition Against Domestic Violence
in Des Moines, Iowa.
