Lorie Obradovich is the artistic director and one of the founding members of the award-winning
Baby D Theatre, Inc. In her more than 30 years working in theatre, Obradovich has experienced both
the joy and pain of acting, producing, stage managing, costume design and sound design. She has,
however, found that directing is her true love. She believes the greatest gift any director can receive
is a brilliant script. She has been privileged to direct some amazing plays. Her favorites include Killer
Joe, A Clockwork Orange, A Delicate Balance, No Exit, Glengarry Glen Ross and the 2006 Great Plains
Theatre Conference tribute to Arthur Miller. Obradovich is very excited about the new Baby D project
— raising money to help animals.
