Lowell Williams was born in upstate New York, and he has been living in southern New Hampshire (on the Massachusetts border) since the late
1980s. He became a playwright by becoming an actor first. It has lent him a good many instincts about what works and what doesn´t work on
stage, collaboration with directors and a keen understanding of dialogue. Williams received his M.F.A. through Goddard College, which has
deepened his technical knowledge of writing in combination from those innate skills of the playwright/actor. He currently serves as playwright
in residence for Yellow Taxi Productions, a small professional theatre in Nashua, N.H.
