Michael Ramirez Michael Ramirez´s plays include Spanish White Girl (Second Stage Theatre), Baggage (Manhattan Theatre Source, 2005 and Mae West Fest, 2006) published by Play Source, Speak Your Mind (Cherry Lane Theatre, 2006), A Quiet House (Woodstock Fringe, 2006; The Composers Chamber Theatre, New York City, 2007, Wintergreen Performing Arts, Virginia, 2007 and Great Plains Theatre Conference, 2007), Beloved (Woodstock Fringe, 2006), Generation Gap (Wintergreen Performing Arts, Virginia, 2007) and Hogar Dulce Hogar/Home Sweet Home (Clubbed Thumb´s One Minute Play Pageant, 2007).

Ramirez was a 2006-2007 artist-in-residence at the 92nd Street Y where Untitled: A Play From Juvenile Hall was presented. She served as a writing juror for the 2007 Scholastic Art & Writing Awards. She is a published author, book reviewer, Dramatists Guild member and writing teacher. A social work consultant with an M.P.A., Ramirez has worked with delinquent, foster care and homeless HIV+ street kids in New York City.
