Molly Welsh is currently the operations coordinator for Omaha Performing Arts (OPA). Graduating
with a theater degree from the University of Nebraska–Omaha, she started out at OPA in 2005 as
the education assistant. Welsh is a freelance sound designer and enjoys acting, directing and stage
managing every now and again. Favorite sound design credits include I Am My Own Wife (SNAP!
Productions), Defending Marriage (Shelterbelt Theatre), Mineola Twins (16 Casters Productions),
Grimm Reaping (BlueBarn´s Witching Hour), Mad About the Boy! (BlueBarn Theatre) and a site
specific performance by the Liz Lerman Dance Exchange at the Holland Performing Arts Center.
Favorite acting roles include Maria in Curio and Valentine Are Pissed with BlueBarn´s Witching Hour,
Thyona in Big Love at the BlueBarn Theatre and Claire in Fuddy Meers with FAUST Productions.
Welsh also serves as a part-time house manager for the Orpheum Theater and the Holland Performing
Arts Center.
