Patti Ann Patton has published poetry in several literary magazines. She has
recently completed her first novella, Breaking into the Very Old Garden. She
has written four major full-length plays of which Voodoo Nickel was a winner
at a Eugene O´Neill National Playwrights´ Conference and was produced at
Playwright´s Forum in Memphis, Tennessee, in February 2004. In 2001, she
attended the Last Frontier Theatre Conference in Valdez, Alaska. She has written
two new plays, Patti, Black and White (about the mezzo-sopranos Adelina Patti and
Sisseretta Jones) and The Ghost President (about any Republican president). Patton
currently lives in Grass Valley, California, where she teaches composition at Sierra
College.
