Paul graduated from Indiana University with a degree in Music and Drama and became a member of the Academy
Theater Atlanta, Georgia. He was a member of Joe Chaikin´s Open Theatre Workshop in the early
sixties and joined the Firehouse Theater in 1965. In Minneapolis, he met his former wife, Martha Boesing,
and together they created many songs and music-dramas. In 1968, he worked with Peter Brook´s
International Company in Paris and London. Paul´s acting career has taken him to many regional
theatre centers, including St. Paul, St. Louis, Milwaukee, and Madison. Some of his favorite roles are
James Tyron in Long Day´s Journey into Night, Frank Hardy in Faith Healer, and George in
Who´s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?. He also had a singing career, playing many leading roles in
the oldest and largest dinner theatre in the country at Chanhassen, Minnesota. He received his MFA in
Voice at the University of Minnesota. Paul moved to Omaha in 2004 and has appeared in two seasons of the
Nebraska Shakespeare Festival as an actor and composer including Polonius in Hamlet and Brabantio in
Othello. This year he will play the Soothsayer in Antony and Cleopatra.
