Rashad McPherson

Rashad McPherson Rashad McPherson is a composer and musician who became involved in music at a very young age. He began playing the drums at age two, taking piano lessons at age four and wrote his first song at age six. Over his music career, McPherson has formed several groups and ensembles, been associate musician and youth choir director at Salem Baptist Church, competed musically around the country and traveled to Switzerland.

On August 26, 2006, McPherson and New Vision recorded their first live album at the Salem Baptist Church in Omaha. Currently, he is working on overdubs and editing and anticipates release in August 2007. In March 2006, McPherson was selected to be a member of Axiom Records´ newly signed artist Bobby Perry & R.A.I.N. Their debut CD was released nationally on June 13, 2006. Through his participation with this group, McPherson has crossed paths and shared the stage with gospel greats such as Tye Tribbett & G.A., Kierra "Kiki" Sheard, J. Moss, Dorinda Clark-Cole, Kim Burrell, Men of Standard, Karen Clark-Sheard, Norman Hutchins, Bobby Jones and many more.
