Rick Brayshaw broke into theatre professionally as a choreographer. He worked with most area
community and high school theatres, then set his life´s course as a director of Joseph and the Technicolor
Dreamcoat. He received his M.F.A. in Directing from the University of Texas and then turned to
education as a high school drama teacher/director in south Texas. Th e new millennium brought him
home to Omaha where he now teaches acting classes ath the Omaha Community Playhouse and
ballroom dance classes at Metropolitan Community College. He has directed the regional premiere
of Fame the Musical, a revivial of From Generation to Generation, the feature-length thriller Ulterior
Motives and choreographed and acted in the movie comedy Bert.
