A native of Memphis, Tennessee, Samantha Butler has been working as an actress with the Omaha
Theatre Company (The Rose) since 2003. Favorite roles include Junie B. in Junie B. Jones and a Little
Monkey Business, Belle in Disney´s Beauty and the Beast and Cinderella in this summer´s production
of Rodgers and Hammerstein´s Cinderella at The Rose. She has also performed with the Ft. Salem
Theatre in Salem, New York, Theatre West Virginia in Beckley, West Virginia, and has been featured
in several independent films including Natural Selection written and directed by Craig Brewer, Hustle
and Flo and Black Snake Moan.
