Tom Woldt

Tom Woldt Tom Woldt serves as the chair of the Department of Theatre Arts at Simpson College in Iowa where he teaches courses in the areas of theatre history and performance. He received his M.F.A. in Directing from Minnesota State University–Mankato, his Ph.D. in Theatre History/Literature/ Criticism from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln and served an internship in stage management and directing at the Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis. Recent directing projects have included Rumors, The Seven-Year Itch, Into the Woods, Nora and Julie (Ingmar Bergman´s adaptations of A Doll House and Miss Julie), The Trojan Women: Stories of Love and War and Love´s Labour´s Lost. Woldt serves currently as the chair of Region V for the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival.
