Vincent Lee Alston has been acting for more than ten years. Ironically, he ´cut his teeth´ in a dual role performance at the University of Louisville playing Obidiah in August Wilson´s The Home Coming and Cutler in Ma´ Rainey´s Black Bottom.
He portrayed Malcolm X in Jeff Stetson´s The Meeting and had the opportunity to play Walter Lee Younger in A Raisin in the Sun at the John Beasley Theater & Workshop. His latest project is a feature-length film entitled For Love of Amy.
Alston runs a small media company called VLA Productions, and he is presently workshopping a one man play called Five to Ten, which deals with the issues of athletes and domestic violence. He has been happily married for nearly ten years to the love of his life, Pamela.
