William Campbell writes short stories and plays. His stories have appeared in Project
M-zine, Horrorfind, Aoife´s Kiss and Flashshot; he has more work appearing soon in
Down in the Cellar. His plays have appeared at the Shelterbelt Theatre (Nebraska),
Heartland Theatre (Illinois), Playwright´s Showcase (Colorado), Darien Players
(Connecticut), the Hovey Players (Massachusetts), Theatre One (Massachusetts),
North Park Vaudeville (California) and Midair Productions (New York). He
has more work appearing soon at the Offstage Theater (Virginia), Ten Grand
Productions (New York) and the Stratton Players (Massachusetts). He is a winner
of the Theatre Arts Guild (TAG) Best New Script Award. To Beat a Dead Horse, a
collection of a dozen of Campbell´s short stories and five plays, is available from

He is a member of TAG and Nebraska Writer´s Workshop. He works for Westside Community Schools as a speech-language pathologist and lives in Omaha with his wife, children and Great Dane.
