WOW . . . Here We Go Again!

The news is out, and we have another record enrollment. As you can see, our Fall quarter enrollment has now grown for the fifth year in a row. Cumulatively, our enrollment is now 39.96 percent larger than it was in Fall quarter 2005 using headcount as the measure. Using credit hours, the cumulative growth has been 49.05 percent.Learn more…

Faculty Corner

Faculty Part-Time Contracts and Pay Days

Each quarter questions arise regarding when part-time contracts are issued and when pay days begin. The first printing of part-time contract letters for any quarter occurs on the official tenth day of the quarter, which is published in the Academic Timetable. Contract letters are only generated after an assignment has begun; therefore, any assignment that begins after the tenth day of the quarter will be printed on the next follow-up contract print date. CDL Program MCC's Diesel/Truck Driving program won first place at the regional American Technical Education Association (ATEA) conference. Testing Center Changes

Testing Services is pleased to provide an important contribution to MCC’s educational system. Testing Services currently offer placement testing, assessment testing and certification testing for a variety of career areas. Additionally, they provide an environment for students who may have missed an exam in class due to extenuating circumstances. In the last year, the testing centers proctored nearly 10,000 exams of various types for the College community. Learn more…

Getting Ready for the Great Plains Theatre Conference

Lee Blessing It may be a school year away, but Conference staff have begun collecting submissions for the sixth annual Great Plains Theatre Conference (GPTC). For the last five Memorial Day weeks at the Fort Omaha Campus, the conference has been an annual opportunity to bring the Omaha theatre community together with national theatre students, teachers and professionals.
